$ 91.8 billion: Apple has record revenue thanks to iPhone

For the first quarter of this fiscal year, Apple received a record revenue for the entire history of the corporation – $ 91.8 billion. Compared with the same period last year, revenue grew by 9%: then the company received only $ 84.3 billion.

Tim Cook, commenting on record earnings, called strong demand for the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro, as well as the record popularity of wearable electronics and Apple services, one of the main success factors. IPhone directly brought the company $ 56 billion – four billion more than last year.

Revenues from services grew by 17% – to $ 12.7 billion (a year ago it was $ 10.9 billion). But the iPad lost 11% – revenue from it amounted to only $ 6 billion.

Next quarter revenue is expected to be in the range of $ 63-67 billion.
