Sales of Apple Watch, according to Strategy Analytics, accounted for 36% – from 22.5 million devices in 2018. Analysts call the growth driver attractive design, user-friendly technology, and great applications. All this makes Apple smart watches popular in North America, Eastern Europe and Asia.
The Swiss watch industry, by contrast, lost 13% in sales (in 2018, sales amounted to 24.2 million).
