5000mAh and NFC, inexpensive. Oppo A16s quietly announced in Europe
The first buyers are offered a discount
The Chinese company Oppo quietly introduced in Europe a new low-cost smartphone – Oppo A16s.
The device became available in the Netherlands. Their users can order a smartphone for 149 euros. The first buyers are offered a discount, and the standard price is 179 euros.
The model continues the work of the Oppo A16, which debuted in July; the main difference was the appeared NFC support, which is not so and often found in inexpensive smartphones in Europe. Plus, Oppo A16s added memory.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of HD + (1600 x 720 pixels) with a teardrop notch for an 8-megapixel front camera, a primary triple camera (13 megapixels, 2 and 2 megapixels), a fingerprint scanner on the side.
The hardware base is the MediaTek Helio G35 single-chip system, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal flash memory – instead of 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash memory. The 5000mAh battery supports 10W charging. There is support for two SIM cards, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, there is a 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port.
Dimensions are 163.8 x 75.6 x 8.4 mm, the smartphone weighs about 190 grams. The smartphone runs on the Android 11 operating system with ColorOS 11.1 shell.
