Apple has published a document that describes all the requests received from the authorities of different states from January 1 to June 30, 2019.

Apple constantly receives requests from law enforcement. As a rule, they ask for the IMEI or serial number of the device to search for the missing gadget.

Russia has sent 1219 such requests that concerned 1790 devices. Apple has satisfied 998 applications.

Russian law enforcement authorities sent Apple 17 requests related to fraudulent activity when purchasing Apple equipment . The company responded to 4 applications.

Apple often receives iCloud, Apple ID, and iTunes account requests . She is asked to provide usernames and passwords from accounts, information about the owner, and sometimes the contents of iCloud, including photos, email, backups, contacts and calendars.

For the first half of 2019, Apple received 23 such requests from 101 devices from Russia. 13 of these, Apple partially or completely rejected.

For 10 applications, Apple provided general information without regard to content. For example, transaction data and connection to an account.

All applications related to receiving content on the device, Apple rejected.

Russia asked Apple to remove 16 apps from the App Store. Almost always, the company went forward, only one application remained in the App Store. The remaining 15 are deleted by Apple.
