All the details about the devices appeared on the network on the eve of the presentation.

At the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 20 and 20 Ultra smartphones, the second version of the Galaxy Fold with a flexible screen, the new Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 + tablets, the Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch and the Galaxy Buds Live bean headphones with active noise reduction.

Thanks to leaks and Samsung itself, almost everything about the devices was known in advance .

Galaxy Note 20 and 20 Ultra

Both versions of the device were equipped with “flat” displays. The younger model received a 6.7-inch screen with a resolution of 2400 by 1080 pixels and a refresh rate up to 60 Hz, and the older one – a 6.9-inch screen with a resolution of 3200 by 1440 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The selfie camera in both smartphones is located in the cutout inside the screen.

The company has also adopted a new LTPO display technology that allows you to control the refresh rate of the screen and lower it if necessary to save energy. Apple uses the same technology in its Apple Watch Series 5.

Both devices received a triple camera; in the top version, the resolution of the main sensor is 108 MP. The periscope lens can achieve up to 50x magnification.

The Note 20 is equipped with a triple camera with a 64MP telephoto sensor and 3x optical zoom. At the same time, the resolution of the main and ultra-wide-angle cameras is 12 MP.

The Ultra version received the main lens with a resolution of 108 MP like the S20 Ultra, but the resolution of the telephoto lens was reduced from 48 to 13 MP compared to the previous flagship. It looks like the company has decided to take a step back from the 100x zoom in the S20 Ultra, which rarely came out well.

The flagships were the first smartphones to announce support for Microsoft’s xCloud gaming streaming service. Both smartphones received the Snapdragon 865 processor for the US and some European countries and are available in basic versions with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. In Pakistan, they can be bought only in the version with the Exynos 990 processor.

The Galaxy Note 20 will be available for pre-order starting August 6 at a price of Rs 184,656 for a version with 256 GB of internal memory and colors of graphite, mint and bronze. Note 20 Ultra can be purchased for Rs 230,826 for the version with 256 GB of internal memory and Rs 276,996 for the version with 512 GB of memory. It can be purchased in bronze, black and white.

Galaxy Z Fold 2

Together with the Note 20, Samsung has unveiled the next generation of the Galaxy Fold. The second version retained the form factor and design of its predecessor, the main change was the increase in the external screen to 6.2 inches from 4.6 inches.

Apparently, the smartphone also received an updated camera unit – the same as that of the Note 20 Ultra. When the device goes on sale and how much it will cost, Samsung did not specify.

Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 +

Samsung also showed updated versions of the tablets. The Tab S7 and S7 + have OLED screens with a refresh rate of 120Hz, Snapdragon 865 processors with 5G support and are available in 11 and 12.4-inch versions.

They come with the S Pen stylus, which has also been updated. The pen has become more responsive: the delay is 9 milliseconds. You can also buy a separate keyboard cover for the tablets for convenient typing.

Galaxy Tab S7 + can be purchased in bronze, black and silver colors starting at Rs 184,656 for the version with LTE and Rs 161,600 for the version with Wi-Fi and 128 GB of internal memory.

The Galaxy Tab S7 is available in bronze, black and silver, starting at Rs 133,896 for the Wi-Fi version and Rs 150,059 for the LTE version. When pre-ordering tablets before August 20, you can get a keyboard cover as a gift.

Galaxy Watch 3

Galaxy Watch 3 received a blood oxygen level sensor. The watch can also measure blood pressure without a cuff and take an ECG.

In addition, the device has a built-in notification of falls. When registering an injury, the watch sends a notification to four contacts that can be pre-specified in the list.

The jogging app now has a VO2 Max feature that allows you to track your oxygen uptake during exercise. It is most useful for runners as it reflects endurance.

The Galaxy Watch 3 can be purchased for Rs 80,790 for the 45mm version in black and bronze, or Rs 69,245 for the 41mm version in bronze and silver. If you pre-order before August 20, you will receive an additional leather strap.

Galaxy buds live

Galaxy Buds Live Wireless Headphones have been redesigned with active noise canceling. They follow the shape of the auricle: Samsung claims that this will increase the reliability of the fit of the headphones.

The device is equipped with an improved 12mm speaker and bass channel for richer sound. Each earpiece is equipped with three microphones: two external and one internal, as well as a bone conduction sensor. According to Samsung, this will ensure voice recognition and clear transmission when talking and recording audio, even in noisy places.

Galaxy Buds Live will be available to pre-order in Bronze, Black and White starting August 5th on Samsung’s website. The cost of the headphones will be Rs 32,302. You can also get them as a gift when you purchase the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra during the pre-order period.
