How to Share Wi-Fi Password from iPhone to Android Smartphones
I often share my Wi-Fi password with guests. There are no problems with iPhone owners, but when you connect an Android smartphone, you have to copy and send a complex password. Can this process be simplified?
Back in iOS 11 , the developers from Cupertino added the ability to share a Wi-Fi password with a new connecting device. The chip only works with Apple smartphones and tablets, it will not work to quickly connect Android gadgets in this way.
To do this, you will need to use a third-party application.
How to create a QR code to quickly connect to Wi-Fi
1. Download the free Qrafter app from the App Store .
2. Go to the Create section and select the Wi-Fi network item .
3. Enter your network name and connection password.
4. Save the generated QR code in the device gallery.
Now, when connecting a new device to Wi-Fi, just open the saved code, and on the connected gadget, scan it with the camera. The gadget recognizes the connection data and password from the network.
