I use several Apple computers and an AirPods Pro headset. Tired of not always appropriate switching of headphones between different computers, how can I turn it off?

After the release of iOS 14 , developers from Cupertino added new features for headphones and headsets of their own production. Headphones have learned how to independently switch between gadgets with the same Apple ID account, but sometimes this can interfere with the normal use of Apple technology.

We have already talked about how to disable this feature in iOS 14 . You can also do this on a Mac if needed.

How to turn off AirPods auto-connect on Mac

1. Go to System Preferences – Bluetooth .

2. Connect your headset to your computer so that it appears in the list.

3. Press the Options button to open an additional menu.

4. Under Connect to this Mac , change from Automatic to When I last connected to this Mac .

You can set up this chip on: AirPods Pro , AirPods (2nd generation), Powerbeats , Powerbeats Pro , Solo Pro and brand new AirPods Max .
