I use an Android smartphone and want to protect myself from being tracked using AirTag tags. How to do it?

We have already talked in detail about Apple’s AirTag tags and how you can follow other people with these gadgets .

Cupertino added a special mechanism for detecting someone else’s tag and notifying about it using the Locator application . Android smartphone users can also find someone else’s tag, but only in manual search mode.

2. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone.

4. In the search mode, utilities can find various Bluetooth gadgets and show their approximate location. It can be not only AirTag tags, but also other smartphones, tablets or computers.

5. Using the elimination method or by viewing the available information about the device, you can select AirTag tags among the found gadgets.×190&!4&btvi=2&fsb=1&xpc=fp70EEJ2p4&p=https%3A//

If they are in Lost Mode, you can read the message from the owner. To do this, your smartphone must have an NFC module, to which you need to bring the found label.

As in the case of Apple technology, it is impossible to programmatically disable someone else’s tag, you need to disassemble it and remove the battery.
