Leak: iPhone 12 will be able to record video in 4K at 240 frames per second
In the new iPhone lineup will appear the function of recording video in 4K resolution at 240 frames per second. This is reported by the YouTube channel EverythingApplePro.
There is a hint of such a feature in the beta version of iOS 14. In addition, blogger Max Weinbach, citing his sources, claims that Apple is testing 4K at 240 fps. Recording with these parameters will provide the highest clarity of the picture in slow motion. At the moment, no smartphone has similar characteristics when recording slow-motion video.
Moreover, some experts doubt that 4K fps in 4K resolution is generally possible at the current stage of camera development. Therefore, there was an assumption that Apple implements recording at 120 fps, and then programmatically turns the video into 4K / 240 fps.
Previously, information appeared on the 120-Hertz screen in the top versions of the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The debut of the new iPhone line is expected this fall.
