MediaTek introduced a chip with support for 144 Hz and dual SIM screens for 5G
MediaTek introduced the 7nm Dimensity 1000+ chip – the flagship solution for 5G smartphones. It supports screens with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, a resolution of 1080p + and the ability to convert SDR video (just plain ordinary) to HDR10 + (with an extended dynamic range). This is partly a marketing solution, but is positioned as a chip.
When the chip reaches its maximum performance, the built-in modem is capable of utilizing two 5G channels with a data download speed of up to 4.7 Gbit / s and an upload of up to 2.5 Gbit / s. Also implemented 5G support for both SIM-cards. The chip can “seamlessly” switch between 5G and 4G depending on the signal quality.
HyperEngine 2.0 proprietary technology is designed to maximize performance by optimizing processor and RAM performance. In addition, solutions have been introduced that can reduce the noise immunity of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth – wireless communication should be more stable in poor conditions, it is more difficult to drown out with third-party tools.
One of the first smartphones with Dimensity 1000+ will launch the iQOO brand.
