Oppo will introduce a record-breaking powerful charge for smartphones
Chinese manufacturer Oppo released a teaser with the announcement of charging at a power of 125 W, which will be presented on July 15. No company has such a solution yet.
At the moment, Oppo is releasing SuperVOOC 2.0 charging – its power is 65 watts, this is the best indicator on the market. A 4000 mAh battery will charge such a device in half an hour. But, apparently, this is not enough, and on July 15, Oppo will present charging twice as powerful.

Another brand, Vivo, has already reported on the development of charging with a power of 120 W: according to the company, it is able to replenish 50% of the battery capacity in five minutes and bring the charge to 100% in 15 minutes. It seems that the solution from Oppo will be comparable in speed or a little faster.
One of the problems with ultrafast charging is heating the battery, which leads to its accelerated degradation. However, the problem is gradually being solved: for example, Oppo stated that when charging with a 65-watt “cube” of the Reno Ace 2 smartphone, the battery retained 91% of the original capacity in 800 cycles.
