Why I don’t receive a two-factor authentication code on my iPhone
Recently, the two-factor authentication verification code on the iPhone has not always arrived. I often use my account on other devices and have to send an authorization request several times.
Checking two-factor authentication in Apple ID and iCloud services works quite stably, but sometimes failures are possible.
First you need to make sure that all Apple services are working as usual. To do this, go to this page on the Apple website.
Why is the authorization code not coming?
This can happen for a number of reasons. Here’s what to check first:
▣ Make sure you use the same account on both devices.
▣ You must have a stable Internet connection on all gadgets you use.
▣ Your iPhone, which should receive the authorization code, must have the latest current version of iOS.
If necessary, you can try restarting your smartphone and reconnecting it to the network. If the problem persists, you can generate an authorization code manually.
How to get a verification code manually
In the iOS settings, it is possible to manually request an authentication code, which can later be entered for authorization on another gadget.
To do this, do the following:
1. Go to Settings – Account Apple ID .
2. Open the section Password and security .
3. Find the Get verification code button at the very bottom of the list and click on it.
Get a two-factor authentication code that you can use to authorize on another gadget.
