Capcom announced that on the morning of November 2, some of the company’s networks were experiencing problems that affected access to certain systems, including mail and file servers.
The company soon confirmed that this was the result of unauthorized access by unknown persons.
Capcom apologized for the inconvenience, noting that there were no traces of leaked personal information of users. The company stressed that the incident did not affect the connection to online games and access to websites.
At the moment, Capcom has contacted the police and other authorities – the company is investigating and taking measures to restore its systems.
