Coachella Music Festival Postponed To October Due To Outbreak Of Covid-19 Coronavirus

The event was postponed for the first time in history – for 21 years, it traditionally took place in April.

The Coachella festival, which traditionally takes place in mid-April, was postponed to October due to the outbreak of the coronavirus Covid-19. The organizers reported this on Twitter and Instagram of the event.

The event was to be held from April 10 to April 12 and from April 17 to 19. Now the festival has been moved to autumn weekends – from October 9 to 11 and from October 16 to October 18.

By order of Riverside County authorities and local health officials, we regret to report the transfer of Coachella and Stagecoach due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 coronavirus. Although we made this decision during the uncertainty, we take the safety and health of our guests and employees seriously. We ask everyone to follow the recommendations of doctors. Coachella will be held on October 9, 10, 11 and October 16, 17, 18, 2020. Stagecoach will be held on October 23, 24 and 25, 2020. All tickets for April dates will be valid in October. You can return money for tickets until March 13. Thanks for the support. Looking forward to meeting you in the desert this fall
