The Italian composer Ennio Morricone has died, reports Corriere Dello Sierra. He was 91 years old.
The composer died on the night of July 5-6 in a Roman clinic. According to La Repubblica, a few days before his death, he fell and broke his hip. From the consequences of the fall and death has come, the publication reports.
Morricone is known as the author of music for dozens of films, including Professional, Good, Bad, Evil, The Legend of the Pianist, The Dollar Trilogy, The Abominable Eight. For music for the last picture, he received an Oscar in 2016. In 2007, he received an award for outstanding services in cinema.
