Galaxy Fold 2 will receive ultra-thin glass, and instead of Galaxy S11 will release Galaxy S20

Ice Universe microblogger has announced new information regarding future Samsung smartphones. According to him, the Galaxy Fold 2 smartphone, the new version of the foldable device, will be the first in the world to receive an ultra-thin protective glass that will replace plastic. Thanks to this material, the device itself looks thinner, and the fold on the bend will be smaller.

It is assumed that this is a smartphone in a clamshell form factor.

He also announced the name of the future flagship smartphone Samsung (more precisely, one of). Ice Universe claims that instead of the Galaxy S11, the company will release the Galaxy S20, but does not go into details.

The presentation of the new “galaxy” will take place, as expected, on February 18 at an event in San Francisco. If Samsung continues to adhere to the chosen strategy for the name of smartphones, the Galaxy S20 will be released in 10 years. Therefore, a tweet consisting only of the “Galaxy S20” almost certainly indicates the upcoming announcement.
