TeamGroup today unveiled the world’s first new generation 16GB Elite DDR5-4800 RAM. True, it will not go on sale soon – only in the third quarter of next year.
The supply voltage of the new module is equal to 1.1 V. It will be 1.6 times faster than a certain average DDR4 memory module. It’s too early to talk about prices. In the future, the company promises to expand the range with faster modules.
The processors that will support the new RAM will also have to come out. We are talking about Intel Alder Lake-S and AMD Ryzen 6000. They will probably debut in about the same release window as the new memory.
