James Gunn received a personalized Xbox Series X

With 2 controllers and 1 year of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

The director of “Guardians of the Galaxy” and the upcoming “Suicide Squad” told about this on his Instagram. From the picture, in addition to the named console, the kit includes two gamepads, an annual subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and various digital codes. The slogan “Power Your Dreams” can also be seen on the front of the console.

Gunn jokingly wrote that Microsoft is clearly trying to distract him during the busiest times of his life, noting that he is currently working on two films (“Suicide Squad,” Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3) and a TV series (“Peacemaker” with John Sinoy).

Gunn said he has now begun his two-week quarantine in Canada ahead of the start of production of Peacemaker for HBO. The director noted that he will try to steal some time for games.

In addition, Gunn touched on the perennial topic of controversy over the Xbox and PlayStation.

And please don’t start swearing about Xbox and PlayStation. You may like both, who cares? Don’t you think I’m getting enough of this “rivalry” for both DC and Marvel work?

James Gunn

The director noted that this is not an advertisement, but a kind of gratitude – according to Gunn, he was a “super fan” of the Xbox consoles from the very beginning.

Previously , photos of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson with a custom Xbox Series X appeared on the network – apparently, he also received a gift from Microsoft.

Xbox Series X | S will go on sale worldwide on November 10th.
