Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has found information that Apple has changed battery suppliers for the next generation iPhone. In particular, the company will use the services of the Chinese Jialianyi, which specializes in soft batteries, for the first time.
Now the iPhone uses hard-shell batteries – it is reported that the transition to the new technology will either increase the autonomy of smartphones with the same dimensions, or reduce the thickness of the devices, without losing time in operation.
In addition, a recent report also indicates that the iPhone 13 will feature 10% more energy efficient displays. The batteries may be increased and decreased power consumption of the entire system is necessary in order to implement the refresh rate above 60 Hz – the emergence of this function were expecting more from this year’s models, but the manufacturer had to abandon it, because together with the module 5G high frequency is too strong effect on autonomy.
The iPhone 12 and 12 Pro use a 2,815mAh battery, while the iPhone 12 Pro MAX has a 3,687mAh battery. That’s less than the iPhone 11, but 4G battery life remains pretty much the same.
