The AMD Ryzen 4000 family of processors for gaming and professional laptops was announced back in January at CES, but real devices with them have still not been on sale. However, many leaks allow you to now get an idea of their performance.
Videocardz managed to find detailed information about the ASUS TUF Gaming laptop equipped with the flagship 8-core Ryzen 9 4900H processor. Its maximum clock frequency is 4.2 GHz, and the heat packet is 45 watts. It is also known that in the more expensive model of the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop , the Ryzen 9 4900HS will be used with a higher maximum frequency of 4.4 GHz and lower heat dissipation at the level of 35 W due to higher quality crystals.
Datamener _Rogame published a Ryzen 9 4900H performance chart. It shows that the maximum frequency can still reach 4.4 GHz. The integrated video system operates at a frequency of 1750 MHz and most likely consists of 8 Vega computing units, as in the younger Ryzen 4000 models.

Datamayner apisak posted the test results of new products in the 3DMark 11 benchmark. Ryzen 9 scored fewer points than the Ryzen 7 4800H, but this is most likely due to the features of the laptop that included the test.

The first laptops with AMD Ryzen 4000 processors should appear on sale no later than the summer. AMD relies heavily on powerful gaming models with Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 processors.
