Mass Effect: Legendary Edition Coming Spring 2021 – Remastered Trilogy With All DLCs

BioWare is also working on a new instalment for the series.

The remaster was announced on the official BioWare blog .

The re-release will include all parts of the trilogy and all additions.
In games, the resolution has been increased to 4K and the frame rate has been improved.
Textures, character models, shaders and effects have been globally redesigned.
The remaster is slated for release in 2021 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The trilogy will also receive improvements for the PS5 and Xbox Series.

For months, the BioWare team has been working hard to update the textures, shaders, models, effects, and technical features of these three giant games.

We did not try to remake or reimagine the original games, we wanted to modernize the experience for fans and newcomers so that they can see the trilogy in better shape.

Also in the works is a new part of Mass Effect, which is being handled by the “team of veterans”. There is almost no information about her – only art.

Concept for the next Mass Effect
Rumors of an update to the Mass Effect trilogy have been circulating for several years now. They also appeared because EA prevented Microsoft from increasing the resolution in the original games using the Xbox One X emulator – they are still only available in the resolution of the Xbox 360 level.

In 2020, this information was confirmed by journalist Jeff Grubb – according to him, the remaster was supposed to be released in the fall, but the studio decided to postpone the release until 2021 in order to improve the first part: it is very outdated and can scare away new players, so it needs more improvements.
