The Chinese benchmark Master Lu has compiled a rating of the most fake smartphones. Data was collected using an application that helped identify fakes. The first place was taken by the iPhone 8, followed by the clamshell Samsung Galaxy W2018 and Galaxy W2019. The top five also included the iPhone XS Max and Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus.
The share of “iPhones” accounts for 29.54% of fakes, smartphones Samsung – 26,44%, Xiaomi – 9,83 %, Honor – 6,1%.
Places from sixth to tenth in the fake ranking took Honor 9, Samsung Galaxy S8 +, OnePlus 7 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 6 and Galaxy S8, respectively.
Distinctive features of fakes that impersonate popular and usually productive models are an HD-resolution screen, a MediaTek MT6589 processor and Mali-400 MP graphics. The components can be quite “official”, but, in addition to the appearance, the fakes have nothing to do with the originals.
