Now on the surface of the red planet, the Curiosity rover was sent to the Gale crater region in 2012 and with the help of which scientists were able to make many interesting discoveries, one of which is the hypothesis that conditions were once habitable on Mars. As for the future explorer of the fourth planet from the Sun: the mission involves collecting Martian rocks for subsequent shipment to Earth, searching for living organisms, studying geology and much more.
