Netflix has opened up non-subscription access to some movies and TV shows. Among them are “Stranger Things” and “Bird Box”

All for the sake of attracting new users.

Netflix has made some of its original TV shows and movies available without a subscription. These include the first episode of Stranger Things, the Sandra Bullock horror film Bird Box, and the Oscar-nominated drama The Two Popes. This informs Gadgets 360.

To take advantage of this offer, the user does not need a Netflix account. However, viewing is only available in a browser on a computer or a mobile browser on Android devices. Before that, they will show an ad that you can skip, and after the end of the viewing they will offer to connect a 30-day trial period.
“We are exploring various marketing moves to attract new members and give them a great Netflix experience,” the company explained. How long the experiment will last is not specified.
Now, without a subscription, you can watch the following projects (if this is a series, we are talking only about the first episode):
• “Stranger Things”;
• “Elite”;
• “When they see us”;
• “Our planet”;
• Grace and Frankie;
• The animated series “The Boss Baby: Back in Business”;
• Reality show “Love is Blind”;
• “Bird box”;
• Murder Mystery;
• “Two Popes”.
This isn’t the first time Netflix has experimented with giving away its content for free. Earlier this year, it made To All the Boys I Loved Before free to US residents, and some of the service’s documentaries were available on YouTube. However, for the first time, the company extends the action to all countries of its presence, including Pakistan.
