New Apple Watch Series 6 Features: Tachymeter and Sleep Tracking

Continuing to learn the iOS 14 code, 9to5Mac discovered new features in the Apple Watch Series 6 and watchOS 7.

There were a lot of innovations, and some of them really waited a long time:

1 . Ability to share dials between users. That is, you can make the dial at your discretion from the proposed sets in watchOS, and then drop the special file on another iPhone via AirDrop.

However, completely custom dials from third-party developers were not found in this firmware.

2 . An advanced version of the Infograph watch face is the Infograph Pro. A tachometer will appear in it to measure the speed of movement.

3 . New source for watch faces: shared albums. Now you can use either your pictures or from local albums.

4 . Kids mode for Apple Watch. Now you can only attach one iPhone to the watch, but it will be possible to add a second. This method offers parental control, including managing trusted contacts and available music.

5 . Schooltime function. Parents will be able to configure which applications their children will be able to use at a specific time. For example, when they are in school.

6 . Sleep tracking. A special tracker will appear in the new watch , and through the application, the user will track the various phases of sleep and automatically “set” an alarm clock for a specific user’s sleep.

You can also set personal goals in the Health app on an iPhone.

Plus, in watchOS 7 there will be sleep and noise reduction toggle switches for the Control Center on the Apple Watch. [ 9to5 ]
