OnePlus made a presentation at which they presented the improved flagship 8T and the mid-budget Nord model in gray color and with increased memory.
OnePlus Nord in Gray Ash received a matte gray back panel, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Otherwise, the specs are the same: Snapdragon 765G, 90Hz screen and € 500 in the European region.
OnePlus 8T differs from the usual basic “eight” design of the back panel, the presence of a fourth camera module, and the screen is now flat and with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The rest is almost unchanged Snapdragon 865 with 5G, 6.55-inch AMOLED screen, the main and ultra-wide-angle module are identical (48 MP and 16 MP), there is no protection against water, wireless charging and a headphone jack.
There is also a 2MP black and white module and a 2MP macro module on the rear panel – early reviewers point out that both are practically useless .
OnePlus 8T will launch Oxygen OS 11 based on Android 11. One of the main innovations will be the Always-On Display with an animated graph of device usage.
The charging power is 65 W. The adapter is supplied in the kit.
Two versions are delivered to Europe: 8 + 128 GB for 600 euros (111,979.12 Pakistani Rupee) and 12 + 256 GB for 700 euros (130,676.55 Pakistani Rupee). They will go on sale on October 20.
OnePlus 8T has become the only updated flagship in the lineup – towards the end of the year or in early 2021, it may announce a model labeled Ultra, equipped with the new flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor.
