Rostec will release ELIK computers based on Elbrus processors
State Corporation Rostec introduced prototypes of computers based on Elbrus processors. Monoblocks ELIK 102 are compatible with the Russian operating systems Elbrus Linux, Alt, Astra Linux, Neutrino, and office suites MyOffice and LibreOffice, according to the company’s website.
The advantages of computers include “guaranteed absence of“ bookmarks “, a high level of protection against information leaks, cyber attacks and other external influences”. System developers are confident that computers are suitable for standard office tasks, as well as for engineers, designers, and in other activities using highly loaded application systems in the “remote desktop” mode – up to 16 GB of RAM can be installed on a PC.
Other features of the computer: “high-quality display with thin frames, integrated camera and speakers, ergonomic stand and optional built-in uninterruptible power supply”.
