A twitter user with the nickname choco_bit posted a schematic image of the iPhone 12 Pro with LiDAR. A similar sensor is used in the iPad Pro 2020. With it, the tablet quickly recognizes objects in the room and can display a picture on different surfaces.

Judging by the profile description, choco_bit worked as an authorized Apple service center. The image could well be in one of the internal documents, although its reliability raises questions. Well-known insider OnLeaks said that he did not know anything about LiDAR in the new iPhone.
