Sony introduced the new flagship Xperia 1 “second version”

Despite the cancellation of Mobile World Congress, Sony held an online presentation of its new flagship smartphone, the Xperia 1 II. In the West, it is read as the Xperia One Mark Two. The first version of the Xperia 1 smartphone came out last year.

The Sony Xperia 1 II boasts a large 6.5-inch OLED screen with 4K resolution. The aspect ratio is cinematic (21 to 9). On the back of the smartphone is a triple camera module: 12 megapixels (f / 1.7, optical stabilization), 12 megapixels with a wide angle (f / 2.2, 16 mm equivalent) and 12 megapixels with a telephoto lens (f / 2.4, 70 mm equivalent). Selfie camera – 8 megapixels. The new product will have built-in advanced AF management software.

The smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 865 chip with a 5G modem, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. The capacity of the built-in battery is 4000 mAh. Unlike the previous generation, the standard headphone jack is back in the new product.

The smartphone will go on sale in the second quarter of this year, but prices have not yet been announced.
