The design of the flexible Galaxy Z Flip revealed two weeks before the presentation

On the WinFuture website, they posted the renderings and characteristics of a flexible clamshell Samsung Galaxy Z Flip smartphone.

The phone will receive a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 22: 9 and a resolution of 2636 × 1080 pixels. This smartphone will first use ultra-thin glass , instead of the plastic screen that is installed in the Galaxy Fold.

On the back side, next to the camera, is the second AMOLED display with a diagonal of 1.06 inches and a resolution of 300 × 116 pixels. It is needed to display time and notifications.

The smartphone will receive a Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, which at the moment is no longer the most powerful Qualcomm chip. Samsung’s flagship Snapdragon 865 processor has left for the Galaxy S20 .

The Galaxy Z Flip will have 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB drive, there is no microSD slot. There is no 3.5 mm audio jack either. Headphones have to be connected either via Bluetooth or via USB-C.

On the back of the device is a dual camera. Both modules are 12 MP: regular and ultra wide. Above the main screen is a 10 MP front camera.

WinFuture notes that this smartphone is not designed for people who need maximum specifications . It will be promoted as a fashion device.

Presumably, Samsung will show the Galaxy Z Flip at the Galaxy S20 presentation on February 11th . A smartphone will cost $ 1,400 or 87 thousand rubles. [ WinFuture ]
