The Iranian minister boasted a space program and showed the cosmonaut’s carnival costume

Mohammad-Jawad Azari Jahromi, Iranian Minister of Communications and Information Technology, tweeted the success of the national space program. He illustrated the message with a suit that resembles a space one. However, Internet users drew attention to some of its features.

In particular, a brilliant “spacesuit” is worn, apparently, over a jacket and shirt. It turned out further that the same costume can be bought for $ 20 – this is a “carnival” option that has nothing to do with space.

True, it is being sold in a slightly different form: with the American flag and the NASA logo. In the photo posted by a member of the Iranian government, these stripes are torn off, and on one of the sleeves the national flag of the country is attached.
