
Apple updated the MacBook Air line this week . New items have already appeared in benchmark tests.
Due to Intel processors of the 10th generation, they turned out to be 76% more powerful than the previous generation. This was reported by Jason Snell of Six Colors .
A laptop with a 4-core Core i5 processor with a frequency of 1.1 GHz scored in Geekbench 5 as many as 1047 points in single-core and 2658 points in multi-core mode.
At the same time, the MacBook Air 2018 with the 8th generation Core i5 with a clock frequency of 1.6 GHz scored 790 and 1628 points, respectively. Older versions did even worse with testing. [ MacRumors ]
