These Android apps offer urgent removal from your smartphones

Mobile applications collect user data – this is no secret to anyone. However, some programs “take over” more than is required for their work. According to VPNpro, the Chinese Shenzhen HAWK Internet Co. has released an extensive suite of applications requiring permissions that can be called inadequate.

The list of “very suspicious” included 24 programs downloaded a total of more than 382 million times. Some of the samples not only collect excess data, but also contain unwanted software. It is noted that Shenzhen HAWK is a subsidiary of the state TCL Corporation.

VPNpro’s list of “dangerous permissions” includes application requirements for accessing audio, video, photo recordings and the ability to make calls.
