On October 26, Ubisoft published a large post detailing the technical details of its games for next generation consoles.
All of these titles will be updated for free for PS5 and Xbox Series.
Ubisoft specifically noted that Microsoft got involved with Legion and Valhalla early on, so these games take advantage of DirectStorage and other new Series X and Series S features.
For Series S, everything specified for X is relevant, but without 4K resolution.
Watch dogs legion
Xbox Series X – 4K HDR 30 FPS, ray tracing and DirectStorage for faster downloads.
PS5 – 4K HDR 30 FPS, ray tracing , Tempest 3D audio support, SSD fast boot support, DualSense gamepad feedback support.
Assassin’s creed valhalla
Xbox Series X – 4K HDR 60 FPS, Xbox Velocity Architecture and DirectStorage support for fast downloads.
PS5 – 4K HDR 60 FPS, Tempest 3D Audio support, fast downloads thanks to SSD.
Immortals Fenix Rising
Xbox Series X – 4K HDR 60 FPS and Dolby Atmos audio, DirectStorage support not listed for some reason.
PS5 – 4K HDR 60 FPS, Tempest 3D sound, fast loading thanks to SSD, DualSense support.
Far cry 6
The game will run at 4K 60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X. No further details yet.
Xbox Series X – 4K HDR 60 FPS, DirectStorage support.
PS5 – 4K HDR 60 FPS, Accelerated Downloads.
Rainbow six siege
4K 120 FPS support on Series X and PS5.
4K on Xbox Series X and PS5, and 1080p on Series S. The game will be enhanced with backward compatibility, with 60 FPS available in early December.
