There is a workaround while Microsoft is working on fixing the error:
. Press the WIN + R keys.
. Type regedit -> press Enter.
. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Search .
. Right-click anywhere, select New -> DWORD Parameter (32 bits) .
. Enter BingSearchEnabled and double-click on the entry that appears.
. Enter a value of 0.
. Double-click on CortanaConsent and enter 0.
. Reboot the computer.
