A message to gamers from Liz Hamren, Microsoft’s corporate vice president of gaming platforms, was posted on Xbox Wire. Although the launch of the Xbox Series was the largest in the history of the company’s consoles, it became known a day earlier, Hamren gave several details about the activity of users on November 10.
- The percentage of new players who had not previously owned consoles was a record for the start of Xbox sales – most of them acquired Series S.
- 70% of Series X | S consoles sold were assigned to Game Pass subscribers on launch day.
- In the first 24 hours, Xbox users played 3594 games – a record for the start of sales of consoles from Microsoft.
The company thanked all fans for their support and assured that they are doing everything possible to quickly deliver additional Xbox Series games to stores.
